 This is the SHAREWARE version of BrainStorm pro. You can play 20 selected
 levels to test if you like the game. If you do so, you should order the
 commercial version at the address shown on the exit screen of the game.
 The version you will receive then features 170 levels, 7 graphical outfits,
 8 tunes and much more (see the screenshots shown in this shareware version!).

     * The idea *

     BrainStorm is a puzzle game for one player; concerning tiles, colors
     and different gravity forces.
     Your job in each of the levels is to make all of the tiles disappear.
     Every tile has got a colored arrow that shows the direction it will fall
     to if nothing stops it.
     These tiles can be moved, but not against there gravity direction. That
     means, you can push them either left and right, or up and down. You can
     not "lift" them up.
     Tiles will fall down until something (a wall, another tile etc.) stops
     them.
     Now, tiles will disappear when ALL of THE SAME COLOR are connected.
     A tile is "connected" when it touches another tile of the same color.
     The level is completed when no tiles are left. After doing this you get
     a password to restart at this level the next time you play.
     Well, sounds easy? So we should tell you that more things will appear
     in the levels:

     - colored arrows in the background will change the color of every tile
       that slides on them (and, of course, the GRAVITY direction is also
       changed!)

     - rotating arrows change the gravity/color of a tile by 90ų

     - transporter arrows push a tile into the shown direction, not
       recognizing the current gravity direction of it.

     - teleporters move a tile to another teleporter in the level

     - Sometimes you will find tiles that cannot be moved!

     - BrainStorm-"links" will connect tiles of the same color over a
       wide range. These "link" places are usually, but not always, marked
       by a special wall, a link cable, etc.

     There are LOADS of things to discover...so be prepared to face a new
     challenge in almost every new level!
     The best way to get the clue of it is to simply start playing! The first
     20 levels are designed as a sort of "tutorial" to get you familiar with
     BrainStorm's many tricks & traps!

     * The controler *

     Click on a tile and pull it into the direction you want, while holding
     the left mouse button.
     You can cancel a level anytime by pressing <ESC> and retry it as often as
     you want.
     Click the right mouse button to PAUSE the game.

     * Title menu *

     Here's a summary of the 6 options:


     Start Game  : Start the current level (level #1 when you just started
                   the program).

     Password    : Enter a password to jump into a level you once played.

     Select area : The commercial game is devided into 6 areas with 20 levels
                   each + one "pro"-area with 50 levels! Each area has got
                   its own graphical outfit. By selecting an area, you start
                   with its first level, i.e. 1, 21, 41, 61, 81, 101, 121.
                   In other words, if you're kind of a puzzle maniac, you can
                   skip the easier levels and start with level 121!!
                   Note: As the shareware version contains only 20 levels, you
                   will not be able to select an area!

     Music/Sound : Toggle background music and sound effects. The program
                   automatically detects if an AdLib(tm), SoundBlaster(tm) or
                   compatible sound card is present.

     Exit        : View some screenshots of the commercial version & quit.
